Item Details

A nineteenth century, engraved, French crystal ice bucket. This is made from a very good quality, heavy crystal, it is probably by Baccarat and it dates from c.1860. It is beautifully engraved with animals in a forest. During this period Baccarat made a series of ice buckets engraved with scenes from Aesop’s fables and this is very similar in style and quality to those. It is in excellent condition.
