Item Description
A 19th century, French copper, creme renversee pan and cover. Both the pan and the lid are stamped with a number ’16’ which relates to the diameter of the pot in centimetres. It is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper, has flat form handles to the sides and an acorn shaped, brass finial to the lid. It dates from c.1890. There is a tiny amount of pitting to the lid, from use, but otherwise it is in very good condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
Dimensions: Diameter 16.3cm. Width 21.5cm. Height 13cm.
