Item Description
A 19th century, French copper sugar spinner. This would have been used for fancy sugar work and the central divider allows you to work two colours of sugar together. It has a turned wooden handle and it dates from c.1860. There is a brass eye in the end of the handle so that it can hang but this is new. The piece has seen a lot of use, is slightly misshapen and has minor denting. There is also a chip on the wooden handle where it meets the copper fitting.
Dimensions: Length of spinner 17.8cm. Width of spinner 13.5cm. Depth of spinner 7.5cm. Overall length including the handle 35cm.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £30. Most of Western Europe add £15.
