Item Details

A nineteenth century, French copper egg whisking bowl. This is marked “DECROUEN P. RUE TREILHARD PARIS”. Decrouen were makers of high quality copper kitchen ware in the 19th and early 20th centuries and this piece dates from c.1870. It is also stamped with a large letter “C”. It is well made, from a very heavy gauge of copper, has a rolled rim and a large brass ring handle so that it can hang when not in use. It is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 35cm. Depth 18cm.
