Item Details

A nineteenth century, French copper salmon kettle. This is made from a heavy gauge of copper, it has castellated seams and it dates from c.1860. It has a wired, rolled rim and there are nicely shaped brass handles to either end. There is very slight denting to the copper, from use, but otherwise it is in good condition. This is no longer good for cooking but would make an attractive jardiniere or wine cooler for a number of bottles.
Dimensions: Length 61cm. Width 18.5cm. Depth 13cm. Length overall, including the handles 64cm. Height including the handles 17.5cm.
