Item Details

A large, and ornate, French copper mould. This is well made, from a substantial gauge of copper, and it has castellated seams up the side. It dates from c.1870. The design consists of a stylised flower to the top above fluted sides and a wide, plain base. There is a brass loop attached so that the mould can hang when not in use and this is original to the mould, not a later addition. The mould is in very good condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn.
