Item Details

A vintage, French copper hanging pot with a folding steel handle. This is signed “R. Boisan”. R. Boisan was an artisan French coppersmith who used embossed and hammered techniques to produce his designs which are often associated with the Arts and Crafts movement. This piece dates from c.1930. The design features a family crest which incorporates the words “DEMEK BAT”. The piece is in very good condition, although the interior is quite discoloured. It would make a lovely hanging jardiniere for a plant.
