A 19th century, steel sugar or ice cleaver, nicely shaped as a fox. This is French and it dates from c.1890. It has an aluminium handle which is attached by large, copper rivets and the fox has a small copper rivet as an eye. The cleaver is well made and it is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Length 26.6cm. Height 15cm. Width of handle 1.6cm.
