Item Details

A 19th century, steel ice or sugar cleaver in the shape of a fox. This is naively shaped as a fox, with the wooden handle, which is attached by brass rivets, forming the tail. It is French and it dates from c.1880. There is considerable pitting to the steel blade, from use, but otherwise it is in good condition.
Dimensions:  Height 14cm. Length 32.2cm. Width 2cm.
