Item Details

A late nineteenth century, steel ice or sugar cleaver in the shape of a fox. This is French and it dates from c.1890. The fox is nicely shaped and has a small brass rivet to form the eye. The wooden handle is attached by small copper rivets and the piece is in very good condition with just minor pitting to the blade from use.
Dimensions: Length 33cm. Height 14cm. Width of handle 1.2cm.
