Item Details

A very good quality, 19th century, French copper baking dish. This is quite unusual, being of square form, and it has a well made, heavy copper folding handle to one side. It is made from an exceptionally heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1860. It is in excellent condition and, although we have not had it re-tinned, it has obviously been re-tinned quite recently as the tinning is in very good, bright, usable condition.
Dimensions: Length (including handle) 30.3cm. Width 29cm. Depth 5.7cm.
