Item Details

A super quality, 19th century, French copper grain measure. This is made from an exceptionally heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1880. This shape of measure were made to resemble drums. This example has a textured central band with smooth bands to the top and base and the ornamental vertical bands and the handles also have a smooth finish. It is a very good looking piece and would make a beautiful champagne cooler or jardiniere. It is in excellent condition.
