Item Description
A very unusual, graduated set of oval wooden pie moulds. These are turned from beechwood and they date from c.1880. They were used for making hand raised pork pies which were usually circular. They are most uncommon in the oval form and it is also rare to find them in graduated sizes. There are some cracks in the wood, where the wood has died out over the years. This can be seen in the images and is worst in the mid sized mould.
