Item Details

A hand painted, Spode creamware dish. This is marked ”SPODE” and it dates from c.1810. It is beautifully painted, with a flower and foliage, in shades of green and yellow. The border design, which is known as either the loop and pin, or the egg and dart, is painted in brown and yellow enamels. Original this shaped dish would have been part of a supper set, with three other dishes of this shape around a central, circular dish. It is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Length 32cm. Width 15cm. Depth 3cm.
