Item Details

A large, 19th century, brass basting spoon. This is French and it dates from c.1860. The reverse of the spoon is nicely shaped and the handle is stamped with a number “8”. There is very slight pitting, from use, but otherwise the spoon is in very good condition.
Dimensions: Length 34.8cm. Width 6.4cm. Depth of spoon 2.3cm.
