Item Details

A large, 19th century, French copper spatula. This is made from an extremely heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1850. The handle is engraved with the initials “J.F” which would be the initials of the original owner. There is pitting to the copper, from use, and there is a brasing mark to the handle. This could be the way in which it was made or it could be a later repair.
Dimensions: Length 56.5cm. Width of spatula 8cm.
