Item Details

A large, nineteenth century, circular, French copper skimmer. This is made from a very heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1870. The long handle is stamped with the numbers “13” and “14” and it has a turned end, shaped like a shepherd’s crook, so that it can hang when not in use. It is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Length 52.5cm. Width 13.5cm.
