Item Details

A large, 19th century copper mould. This is English and it dates from c.1870. It is engraved with the initials “G.W.B.” which would be the initials of a previous owner, and it is stamped with the pattern number “225”. It is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and the design consists of two tiers of fluting. It is in excellent condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn.
