Item Details

A large, 19th century, French copper ladle. This is stamped, on the handle, with a cockerel and the initials “R.E.L”. The cockerel is the mark of the French company Letang and the ladle dates from c.1860. The initials would be those of a previous owner. There is very slight pitting to the copper, from use, but otherwise the piece is in very good condition.
Dimensions: Length 50.5cm. Diameter of ladle 11.5cm. Depth of ladle 7cm.
