Item Details

A large, 19th century, French copper mould. This is marked with the cockerel symbol used by Letang, above a pattern number “202”. The mould is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1880. The design consists of two tiers of fluted columns above a wide, plain base. There are some very minor dents to the copper but otherwise it is in very good condition. The tinning, to the interior, is worn.
