Item Details

A large, 19th century, English copper, deep sauce pan. This is a good quality pan, made from a heavy gauge of copper, and it dates from c.1880. It is marked “BENHAM & SON LTD. WIGMORE ST. LONDON” with a strap shaped cartouche. It has a traditional, English form of steel handle, which is quite heavily pitted around the fitting. Otherwise the pan is in very good condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
Dimensions: Depth of pan 8.4cm. Diameter of pan 23.2cm. Overall length of pan and handle 44.8cm.
