Item Details

A good quality, large French copper casserole and cover. This is marked “VILLEDIEU FRANCE” and it dates from c.1920. It is made from an exceptionally heavy gauge of copper and has brass handles to the sides and also to the lid. The copper has a planished finish to the casserole but the lid has a smooth finish. The piece is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
Dimensions: Diameter 36.3cm. Depth of casserole 14cm. Overall width including the handles 46.5cm. Overall height including the handle 16.5cm.
