Item Details

A large, 19th century, French copper grain measure shaped to resemble a drum. This is well made, from a very heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1860. There is texturing to the central band of the measure and this has been achieved by planishing the copper. There is marking to the copper in the base of the measure. This is from use. Generally it is in very good condition.
Dimensions: Width 40cm. Diameter 35.5cm. Height 26cm.
