Item Details

A large, 19th century, French copper mould. This is well made, from quite a heavy gauge of copper, and it has a castellated seam up the side. It dates from c.1870. The design consists of a deeply moulded, stylised flower to the top above fluted sides. There is a triangular steel loop attached so that the mould can hang when not in use and this mould does display particularly well in this way. There are a couple of very tiny dents to the top of the border but otherwise the mould is in very good condition. The tinning to the interior is worn.
