Item Details

A large, late nineteenth century, French copper preserve pan. This is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1890. It has a rolled rim and the typical, attractive, French form of brass handles to either side. There are some tiny dents, and marking to the copper in the base of the pan, from use, but otherwise it is in very good condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 44cm. Depth of pan 16cm. Width across the handles 49.8cm. Total height including the handles 20.8cm.
