Item Details

A large, French copper deep saute pan and cover. This has no manufacturers marks but the side of the pan is stamped with a number “24” and the lid is stamped with a number “25’. This relates to the diameter in centimetres. Both the pan and lid are made, from a very heavy gauge of copper, and it dates from c.1880. It is in very good condition with just slight pitting to the steel handles. The interior has been re-tinned so that the pan can be used.
Dimensions: Diameter of pan 24.5cm. Depth of pan 8cm. Overall length of pan and handle 49cm.
