Item Description
A rare, late 19th century, pewter ice cream mould in the shape of a sparkling wine bottle. This would turn out a bottle which would be almost life size. It is very well moulded in the form of a bottle bearing the label “A Y MOUSSEUX”. Mousseux is a sparkling wine which is made by means other than the champagne method so, in this way, it is different to a cremant. The mould is fabulous quality, French and dates from c.1890. It is in excellent condition.
