Item Details

A large, Wedgwood creamware mould with a fish to the base. This is marked ”WEDGWOOD” and it dates from c.1800. It is also impressed with a pattern number “285”. It is made from a good quality creamware which has a bluey green glaze. The design is very deeply moulded with excellent detail. There is a short, hairline crack to one end, two small chips to the rim, and a small chip to one of the high points of the design.
