Item Details

A long handled, 19th century, French copper ladle. This is made from a very heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1880. The copper has a planished finish and the handle is turned from oak. This was probably, originally for use as a measure for grain or other dry goods as it has never been tinned for general kitchen use. It is in very good condition.
