Item Details

A nineteenth century, green majolica glazed plate. This is moulded with vines and small buds against a basket weave background. The moulding is very well detailed and the plate is covered in a dark green, majolica glaze. It is English and dates from c.1860. There is a chip on the foot rim but otherwise it is in good condition. The lines across the back are from where the glaze has puddled.
Dimensions: Diameter 21.5cm. Depth 3cm.
