Item Details

A miniature copper mould in the shape of a teardrop. This is made from a substantial gauge of copper and dates from c.1880. It is marked “LENT BY TEMPLE & CROOK IRONMONGER 20 MOTCOMB ST.” It would have been owned by Temple and Crook, who would have loaned it to their customers when having their own moulds re-tinned. It is in very good condition and the tinning, to the interior, is still in usable condition.
Dimensions: Length 8cm. Width 4.7cm. Depth 0.9cm.
