Item Details

 A miniature copper mould in the shape of a horseshoe. This is marked “JONES BROS. DOWN ST. W.  RD 253202” and it dates from c.1890. It is quite an unusual design, with a tied ribbon within the horseshoe, which is often associated with weddings. The number within the mark is the registered design number. It is in excellent condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn.
