Item Details

A miniature copper mould in the shape of a crayfish. This is marked ”S.F. LONDON” and it dates from c.1910. Originally the flat copper flap would have been bent over and this enabled the mould to stand when being filled and set. If wanted for use this can easily be returned to its original form as the copper is quite light and flexible. Also, originally, the mould would have been covered with tin on the exterior as well as the interior but the tin has been removed from the exterior to reveal the copper beneath. The design is well detailed and the mould is in very good condition. The tinning, to the interior, is still in very good, bright, usable condition.
We have 4 of these in stock. They are all in the same condition but one does not have the S.F. LONDON mark.
Dimensions: Length 12cm. Width 4cm. Depth 2.2cm.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Most of Western Europe add £10.
