Item Details

A miniature, French copper gratin dish. This would have been made as a travellers sample as the interior was tinned to show how they would have been for use. It is well made, from quite a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1900. It is in very good condition but the tinning to the interior is now worn.
Dimensions: Length 16cm. Width 12.3cm. Depth 4.5cm.
