Item Details

A miniature Minton mould in the shape of a marquee. This is marked “MINTON” and it is also impressed with the pattern number “No 21” over “2”. The pattern number corresponds to Minton’s 1848 catalogue. It is made from quite a light earthenware and it dates from c.1850. It is well moulded and it would turn out well. There is a very tiny chip to the foot but otherwise it is in good condition.
Dimensions: Length 8.2cm. Width 6cm. Depth 3.7cm.
