Item Details

A miniature Minton mould with a group of fruits to the base. This is marked “MINTON” and it is also impressed with the pattern number “No 22” over “6”. The pattern number corresponds to Minton’s 1848 catalogue. It is made from quite a light earthenware and it dates from c.1850. The moulding is well detailed and it would turn out well. There are large chips to the base but this does not affect the usability of the mould.
