Item Details

A miniature, Wedgwood, black and white jasper dip jug. This is marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It is also impressed with ”2 1/2” which relates to the height in inches, and a letter “R”. It is decorated, in white relief, with two classical subjects, one being “The Cupid Seller”. Around the spout is a narrow border of laurel leaves and berries. The reliefs are all very good quality and the piece is in excellent condition.
