Item Details

A 19th century, miniature, Wedgwood dark blue jasper bowl. This is marked ”WEDGWOOD” and it dates from c.1860. It is also impressed “3” which relates to the diameter in inches. The marks are very lightly impressed and difficult to make out but they are there. It is decorated with a continuous band of classical figures, trees and foliage. The reliefs are good quality and the jasper dip is a very deep, rich shade of blue. The bowl is in excellent condition.
