Item Details

A Minton jelly mould in the shape of a castle. This is only marked with the pattern number “No 8” over “7”. Number 8 corresponds to Minton’s 1848 catalogue and 7 is the size in inches. There are no other marks but this mould is definitely made by Minton and it dates from c.1860. The design is very well detailed and would turn out well. There is a small chip to the rim but otherwise it is in good condition.
Dimensions: Length 17.2cm. Width 12.2cm. Depth 9.4cm.
