Item Details

A Minton pottery jelly mould in the shape of a shell. This does not bear the manufacturers mark but it is impressed with “No9” over “7”. No9 corresponds with the Minton pattern number from the 1848 catalogue and the number 7 relates to the size in inches. This mould dates from c.1860. The shell design is well modelled and it turns out well. It is in excellent condition.
