Item Details

A Minton, dust pressed tile from the Fairy Tale series. This is marked, in the casting, “MINTONS CHINA WORKS STOKE IN TRENT”. This series was designed by Moyr Smith and the tile dates from c.1880. It is printed, in blue, and titled “PUSS IN BOOTS”, and it is signed “J M S”. There is very slight chipping to the rim but otherwise it is in good condition.
Dimensions: 15.2cm. square by 1cm. thick.
