Item Details

A nineteenth century, Minton, dust pressed tile from a series depicting the trades. This tile is marked “MINTONS CHINA WORKS STOKE ON TRENT” in the moulding. This series was designed by Moyr Smith and was produced in many different colours. This example is block printed in brown, on a buff background, with “The DYER”. It dates from c.1880 and is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: 15.2cm. square by 1cm. thick.
