Item Details

A 19th century, dust pressed, Minton tile from the Shakespearian series. This tile is unmarked but it dates from c.1880. It is printed, in brown on a beige background, with a scene from Twelfth Night, Act II, Scene III. This Shakespearian series was designed by Moyr Smith and the tile is signed “IMS” within the print. It is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: 15.2cm. square by 1cm. thick.
