Item Description
An attractive, 19th century, copper lustre jug. This has a central, blue band which is sprig moulded with cherubs and putti at play. These reliefs are coloured with bright, polychrome enamels. To either side of the blue band the jug is dipped in a copper lustre glaze. English. Date c.1840 Condition: There are two tiny chips to the foot rim and a small chip to the side of the spout. None of this is very noticeable due to the similarity in colour of the glaze and the pot beneath. Dimensions: Height 16cm. Diameter 12cm. Width 17.5cm.
