A lovely quality, early nineteenth century, pearlware jug with pink lustre decoration. This is English and it dates from c.1820. It is moulded with panels of diamond shaped, stylised flowers and between these are flat panels decorated with churches. The design is coloured in various shades of pink lustre and green enamel. Both the lustre and the enamel decoration are still in very good, bright condition. There is a short crack to the rim, which can be seen in the images.
