A nineteenth century, oval, beechwood breadboard.This is nicely carved, with the word “Bread”, wheat, long leaves and a stylised flower. The carving has slight wear and the board has a nicely dished centre from use. It is in very good condition with the usual knife marks to both the face and the reverse of the board. The wood has a honey coloured patina.
Dimensions: Length 30.3cm. Width 24.7cm. Depth 2.3cm.
