Item Details

A cast brass pastry tool with a small wheel to one end and a tweezer form crimper to the other. This is English and it dates from c.1880. The wheel would have been used for trimming the edge of a pie and the tweezer end for applying a decoration to the sides of the pie as found on a Strassburg pie. It is in excellent condition.


Dimensions: Length 12.5cm. Width 2.2cm. Diameter of wheel 2.7cm.
