Item Details

A boldly decorated, 18th century, polychrome Dutch Delft plate. This has a painted factory mark to the rear, which is a monogram of the letters APK, and it dates from c.1780. The centre is painted, in blue, green, ochre and iron red, with a vase of flowers and this is within a scalloped surround. To the rim is a border of oriental style symbols in cartouches and these are divided by geometric panels. There is very minimal wear to the glaze on the rim of the plate. It is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 24.4cm. Depth 3.5cm.
