A fabulous set of eight, 19th century, French crystal, hollow stem champagne coupes. These are made from a very good quality, heavy crystal and they date from c.1880. The stem is nine sided and this cut extends into the underside of the bowl. This design of coupe with the hollow stem, which is a combination of a flute and a coupe, is said to be the best from which to drink champagne. They are all in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Height 12.8cm. Diameter at the rim 9.8cm. Diameter at the foot 7.6cm. There are marginal differences in the sizes as they are hand blown.
