Item Details

A good set of five, early 20th century, French copper saucepans with brass handles. These are all made from a heavy gauge of copper and they date from c.1920. They have the traditional, French form of handle, in brass, which is attached with copper rivets, and they range in size from 12cm. diameter to 22cm. diameter. They are stamped with numbers relating to their size and the individual stamps and sizes are:
“22”: Depth of pan 11.5cm. Diameter of pan 22cm. Overall length of pan and handle 45cm.
“20”: Depth of pan 10cm. Diameter of pan 20cm. Overall length of pan and handle 40.3cm.
“16”: Depth of pan 8.3cm. Diameter of pan 16.6cm. Overall length of pan and handle 32.5cm.
“14”: Depth of pan 7.3cm. Diameter of pan 14cm. Overall length of pan and handle 28cm.
“12”: Depth of pan 6.2cm. Diameter of pan 12.3cm. Overall length of pan and handle 25.2cm.
They are all in excellent condition and the interiors have been re-tinned so that they can be used.
